ABOUT KORTO MOMOLU
Korto was born in Liberia and immigrated with her family to Canada in 1990 to escape the African nation’s civil war. She studied fashion in Ontario before moving to Arkansas, where she still lives with her husband and daughter. During the season finale of Project Runway, Korto presented her spring 2009 collection at Bryant Park during New York Fashion Week and ultimately ended the season as 1st runner up. She was awarded the fan favorite prize. Korto stands out as a designer who embraces color and diversity.

Madera Exotic Woods manufactures exotic woods jewelry and accessories in Costa Rica for upscale retailers around the world and opened its United States operations in 2006.
